Youturn Health's Behavioral Pathway guides individuals to gain an understanding of stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Learn about nature vs. nurture as the cause of struggles and get advice to treat these issues both on your own and with professional help. Viewers will be guided through evidence-based, educational content that will provide tools to better understand behavioral health. You will also hear directly from someone who lost her son to an opioid overdose, and how she found her purpose to help manage grief.

The curriculum includes:

  • Stress management: Why bother with stress management? Because if left unchecked, stress can lead to other, more serious issues like anxiety, depression, substance misuse, and suicidal thoughts. Get an action plan to maximize your strengths and positive psychology techniques to manage stress in your daily life.

  • Mental Health – Anxiety: Learn why we feel anxiety, the different types of anxiety disorders, and tips to manage it effectively.

  • Mental Health – Depression: Step through the types of depression disorders and available treatments and find out how trauma impacts your mental health. Also get tips to manage your life around depression.

  • Trauma: Get practical advice for getting unstuck from traumatic thoughts and find out how exercise and movement can help manage trauma.

  • Grief: We can experience grief beyond the loss of a loved one, including loss of acquaintances, routines, and interactions with people. In this course, get an understanding of the types of grief we can experience and learn coping skills to process your own grief.

  • Lisa’s Story: Managing Grief After Losing a Child to Substance Misuse: Meet Lisa and hear how her son’s drug misuse and eventual overdose affected her family. Get advice for what to do if you suspect a loved one is struggling with substance use.
