Youturn Health's Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Pathway guides individuals through a process of becoming better educated about substance abuse, learning the signs of substance misuse, crushing the stigma around substance use disorder, and starting to build a happier, healthier life.

Viewers will be guided through direct, informational content that will provide tools to help them on their journey to recovery. They will also hear directly from individuals who have found recovery and learned how to redefine their relationship with drugs and alcohol, identify triggers that make them more likely to use, and set goals for changing their habits around substance use.

The curriculum includes:

  • Recovery First Aid: Learn signs of substance misuse in individuals and signs someone may have a family member struggling with substance misuse and how to talk to someone about substance use from a place of caring.

  • Elizabeth's Story: Binge Drinking as a Teenager Escalates into Drug and Alcohol Misuse as an Adult: Hear from Elizabeth firsthand how her alcohol use progressed from binge drinking in high school to drug and alcohol misuse as an adult.
