Welcome to Shining Light’s Spoken Word Lab. In this four-part video series, you’ll join a poets circle and discover what it means to tell your story in your own words and inspire others. Here, you’ll be provided with expert instruction, vulnerable discussion, and examples from incarcerated poets excelling in their craft. By the end of this video series you will be able to

Poet, author, and experienced prison educator Brandon Christopher Allen invites you into his artistic community of poets in Los Angeles for this series.
