Introduction to Carpentry

A job in carpentry is not hard to get since you do not have to go to school for it, and it can be very rewarding.

Throughout this course, you will learn about the basics of a carpentry job, the materials and tools carpenters use, and how to use some of these tools.

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

• Identify the importance of carpentry as a trade
• Explain how carpenter materials are made and what they're used for
• List the different types of fasteners and adhesives and what they're used for
• Discuss the safety measures for using carpentry tools
