About this content

K.E.Y.S. Domestic Violence Training is an educational course designed to increase awareness and understanding of domestic violence, its warning signs, and its impact on individuals, families, children, and communities. Participants will learn about different forms of abuse, the cycle of violence, trauma bonding, safety planning, and barriers that can make leaving an abusive relationship difficult.

The course also explores real-world scenarios involving adult, male, workplace, elder, and child victims to help participants recognize abuse in different situations. Participants will learn how to respond appropriately, support survivors without judgment, identify available resources, and understand the importance of survivor safety, dignity, and personal choice.

By the end of this training, participants will have a stronger understanding of domestic violence and practical strategies for recognizing warning signs, responding safely, and becoming more effective allies to individuals affected by abuse.

Disclaimer: This course discusses domestic violence, abuse, and trauma, which may be difficult for some learners. It is intended for education and personal growth and is not a substitute for professional treatment, legal advice, or crisis support.
