Alternative Bases, Part 2: Math Videos

This is the second part of a college linear algebra series on alternative coordinate systems. You will work through examples of changing bases, finding transformation matrices, and projecting onto subspaces. The series also introduces eigenvalues and eigenvectors, which reveal the directions a transformation stretches. These ideas are used in physics, statistics, and machine learning. This is advanced material. You should complete Alternative Bases part 1 first.
