Preparing for today's workplace means building both the personal and digital skills employers value. In this course series, you'll learn practical strategies for communicating professionally, using workplace technology with confidence, navigating online job applications, understanding artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace, and protecting your personal information online. Through short lessons, real-world examples, and interactive knowledge checks, you'll gain skills you can apply throughout your job search and future career.

Throughout the series, you'll be guided by Melissa Riccio, Director of Capacity Building at the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) and a proud member of the reentry community. Drawing on more than a decade of workforce development experience and her own lived experience, Melissa shares practical insights to help you navigate today's workplace with confidence.

Bonus Module: Learners who are returning to Colorado can also complete an optional Colorado-Specific Module featuring state reentry resources, employment and workforce services, and information about Colorado laws that support fair employment opportunities. This bonus module is not required to complete the course but provides additional tools to support a successful reentry.
