Advanced Algebra: Math Videos

This short series samples several advanced algebra topics. You will learn about logarithmic scales, adding complex numbers, and comparing features of different functions. The heart of the series is conic sections, the family of curves that includes circles, ellipses, and hyperbolas. These shapes describe everything from planet orbits to satellite dishes. You should be comfortable with Algebra 1 and graphing before starting.
