Romanticism: Art History Videos

This series explores Romanticism, an art movement from about 1780 to 1850 that celebrated emotion, nature, and imagination. You will see Friedrich's lonely landscapes, Constable's English countryside, and Turner's stormy seas. You will also see dramatic scenes by Delacroix and Gericault and powerful works by Goya.
