Divergence: Math Videos

This series introduces divergence, a way to measure how much a flow spreads out from a point. You will build intuition for divergence and then work through a full proof of the divergence theorem, which connects what happens inside a region to what flows across its surface. These ideas are used in physics and engineering to study fluids and electric fields. This is advanced material. You should complete single variable calculus and be familiar with multivariable calculus first.
