This short series focuses on Donatello, one of the great sculptors of the early Italian Renaissance. You will see his famous bronze David, a powerful statue of a mounted soldier, and his deeply emotional wooden Mary Magdalene. You will also see how he used perspective to tell stories in stone. His work helped bring a new sense of realism and feeling to art.
