Edovo Impact Survey - 2025

Edovo is a nonprofit. That means that we don't do this work to make money. We do this work because we are on mission to make life during incarceration better. Because we believe that incarcerated people deserve a chance to live a better life. But, we still have bills to pay! Bills that pay for the data it takes to deliver our application to over 1 million people every day. Bills that pay for the tools we need to do our jobs like computers and applications, and the salaries we pay the 36 people that make Edovo happen. That's right. Edovo is a small nonprofit. We have only 36 people that make our application available to over 1 million people each day. That's like one Edovo employee being responsible for 27,000 people.

So what does this mean? It means we raise money to help us pay our bills. The more money we raise, the more staff we can hire to make our product better, deliver cool new features and content, and finally fix how hard it is to search for content. (Trust us.. we know it's a problem and are working on it!)

But, we need your help. First, it is your stories and your success that allows us to raise the money necessary to help us accomplish our goals. When you share your stories (and send us letters, which we do read each week!) it helps us tell your story to the outside world and tell everyone why our work is important. By answering these questions, you are helping us do our work better and help raise the funds to keep this work going. Second, please help spread the word. Tell your family and friends to find us on social media and give us a follow. This will help us continue to amplify the important work that YOU are doing during your incarceration.
