Cosmology and Astronomy: Science Videos

Despite its title, this series is mainly about Earth science. You will learn about Earth's layers, how scientists study the core using earthquake waves, and how plate tectonics shaped the continents and formed the Hawaiian islands. You will also learn what really causes the seasons and how slow changes in Earth's orbit affect climate. These ideas help explain earthquakes, volcanoes, and weather. No prior background is needed.
