The Area of Shapes: Math Videos

This series explores area, the amount of space a shape covers. You will start with rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, trapezoids, and circles, and see how area connects to multiplication. Later videos tackle trickier puzzles, like shaded regions, hexagons, and even the Koch snowflake, a shape with an infinitely long edge. Area comes up in everyday tasks like planning a room, a garden, or a paint job. Most videos only need basic arithmetic. A few later ones use trigonometry or calculus.
