The Nash News — Winter 2024/25

The Nash News is proud to have helped organize the 2024 Mock Election. This event was North Carolina's first mock election in a prison. Thank you to everyone who partnered to host the mock election on Monday, October 21, 2024.

The story on the first mock election is one of two TNN firsts in this Winter edition. The other first is a personal story from a cancer survivor. Commentator Larence Proffitt shares about getting diagnosed and treated for cancer. This unguarded testimony offers a poignant depiction of hearing the scary news of cancer and navigating the treatment process. This story deserves a vast audience, so TNN is proud to carry it.
