Disc Method: Math Videos

This series teaches the disc and washer methods, which use calculus to find the volume of a 3D shape made by spinning a curve around a line. You will practice spinning around the x axis, the y axis, and other lines. These methods are used in engineering and design to calculate the volume of tanks, bottles, and machine parts. You should be comfortable with integrals before starting.
