Thermodynamics: Science Videos

This series explains thermodynamics, the science of heat, energy, and work. You will learn about entropy, which measures disorder, and Gibbs free energy, which predicts whether reactions happen on their own. You will also learn how heat engines work and why no engine can be perfectly efficient. These ideas explain everything from car engines to refrigerators. You should be comfortable with algebra and basic chemistry.
