Absolute Value: Math Videos

This series is all about absolute value, which is simply how far a number is from zero. You will start with the basic idea on a number line and then use it to solve equations and inequalities. Along the way, you will practice with word problems and review how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide negative numbers. These skills show up often on the GED and in any algebra course. The early videos only need comfort with positive and negative numbers. The equation and inequality videos will feel easier if you have tried solving simple equations before.
