Hellenistic: Art History Videos

This short series explores Hellenistic art, made in the Greek world after the conquests of Alexander the Great. You will see the dramatic Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Dying Gaul, and the huge Pergamon altar. Hellenistic artists showed strong emotion, movement, and ordinary people like an old market woman.
