Ratio Proportions: Math Videos

This series covers proportions, which are equations stating that two ratios are equal. You will learn to write proportions, solve for an unknown, and use them in word problems like finding a mountain's height. Proportions are useful for scaling recipes, reading maps, and mixing materials. These skills show up often on the GED. You should be comfortable with basic ratios and simple equations.
