Alternative Bases: Math Videos

This series is part of college linear algebra. It focuses on changing the coordinate system you use to describe vectors, which can make hard problems much easier. You will learn about projections, orthogonal complements, the Gram-Schmidt process, orthonormal bases, and least squares approximation. You will also be introduced to eigenvalues. These tools power data science, computer graphics, and engineering. This is advanced material. You should first complete the Vectors and Spaces and Matrix Transformations series.
