This series explores art from Florence, the city where the Italian Renaissance began. You will see Botticelli's Birth of Venus, Brunelleschi's famous dome, and Masaccio's paintings, which were among the first to use realistic perspective. You will also see works by Fra Angelico, Lippi, and Piero della Francesca. These artists changed art by showing the world as the eye sees it.
