Chemical Processes: Science Videos

This series covers organic chemistry, the study of carbon-based molecules. You will learn functional groups, naming rules for alkenes, and many common reactions, like hydration, hydrogenation, and Friedel-Crafts reactions. The series also covers lab skills like chromatography, extraction, and gel electrophoresis, which scientists use to separate and identify substances. This is college-level chemistry used in nursing, pharmacy, and lab careers. A solid background in general chemistry is recommended.
